WELCOME TO THE DISCOVER $BLEN SECTION

This section is dedicated to learning all about our favourite token; $BLEN! Throughout this section we'll focus on the basics of how the token works, how it can earn passive income and unlocks real yield. Keep reading to discover why you'll want to hold onto your $BLEN tokens.

THE BASICS

$BLEN is our native token that at the center of the BLENDVERSE ecosystem.

You can earn BLEN as a bonus for supplying assets, providing collateral, and receiving it as your share of platform revenue. Once launched $BLEN will also be available to buying/swap directly. Let's briefly explore some of the $BLEN use cases:

• Supply $BLEN to earn additional bonus $BLEN

• Stake $BLEN and other supported tokens to earn a share of platform revenue

• Lock $BLEN to maximize bonus revenue from penalty fees

• Vote on proposals relating to the BLENDVERSE ecosystem

The main purposes of the $BLEN token is to create 'real yield' by rewarding users with actual revenue generated by the protocol, and to incentivise supplying assets on the BLENDVERSE platform. $tBLEN will allows us to get as many users involved as possible in the governance of the protocol. Currently $BLEN has three main uses: staking, locking and voting. Those three things will require you to supply your $BLEN and acquire $tBLEN.

$tBLEN is simply $BLEN that has been supplied to the protocol. Users will receive equal amount of tTokens for the underlying token being supplied to the market which is divided by the current exchange rate. Learn more about tTokens here.

STAKING (Earn Platform Fee Rewards)

Users can stake their tBLEN tokens they receive when supplying BLEN to the markets to earn a share of all revenue generated from the BLEN protocol. Other tokens supported by Blendverse can be staked too.

LOCKING (Earn Penalty Fees)

Another incentive for BLEN is the ability to lock your tLEND for a fixed term of 90 days, and other supported assets. Doing this will make you eligible to earn the same platform fees as staking AND any penalty fees in $BUSD taken from people unstaking their BLEN and other tokens early.

VOTING

Once BLEN holders supply their $BLEN, they can start voting on various DAO proposals to shape the future of the platform & protocol. Future votes could include things like expansion to new chains, and many other exciting possibilities.
